Terms of Service
Terms for using the Aegis Code source protection and license management service.
Using Aegis Code
You may use Aegis Code only for code and projects you are authorized to protect and distribute. You are responsible for your source, license rules, Discord server configuration, and the people you grant access to.
Accounts and access
Sign-in is handled through Discord OAuth. Keep your Discord account secure and do not share bot tokens, session cookies, license keys, or recovery details. The owner may suspend access or a project when required to protect the service or respond to misuse.
Service limits
Features, plan limits, runtime availability, and third-party integrations can change. Existing projects and keys are not promised to remain available if the service is discontinued or an external provider becomes unavailable.
Your content
You keep responsibility for the source and releases you submit. You must not upload unlawful content, malware, credentials, or data you do not have permission to process. Aegis Code does not transfer ownership of your source to the service.
Protection has limits
Aegis Code provides obfuscation, encrypted storage, and configurable delivery controls. It does not guarantee that a release is impossible to inspect, copy, dump, decompile, or reverse engineer. When code runs on a client-controlled device, a third party may recover parts of the code or reconstruct its original logic. Revoking access can stop future licensed deliveries; it cannot recall copies already delivered.
Source disclosure and responsibility
Aegis Code does not insure your source against disclosure or promise compensation solely because a third party analyses, extracts, copies, or reconstructs a protected release. You are responsible for choosing recipients, managing your credentials and license keys, keeping backups, and keeping private secrets out of distributed code. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by your distribution choices, credentials you expose, or changes made by third parties to a runtime outside our control.
These terms do not exclude responsibility for our own breach of contract, negligence, fraud, intentional wrongdoing, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain available. A source-disclosure claim is assessed against the actual cause, the service commitments, and applicable law.
Owner details
The service operator name and address have not yet been configured by the owner. Governing-law details require completion by the owner. A support email or URL has not yet been configured by the owner.
